Surfladle

 Not a great way to kick off a Friday as we have just heard from a customer who has had a rather expensive chunk of kit stolen from his van. The kit is easily recognised, as they stole five North Ultimate Masts. These will be like 'hens’ teeth' if advertised, as any of you who windsurf will know. The sizes are 340cm, 2 x 370cm, 400cm and a 430cm, all of which are in North Sails padded bags. I can't imagine anyone not being 'noticed' it they turn up at the beach with a set of these, so I guess they have been stolen to move on but may not have realised their rarity, which may well catch them out. It's also possible that this was not all they were going to take, as it’s possible that they were interrupted, as the van was on the customers drive and as far as he is aware it occurred during the day. If you see or hear of anyone trying to sell the set or one of these masts, please can you let us know, as this is a real nightmare for the owner (had a trip to Ireland booked on Monday.. thankfully we have a set of the masts he can use) and it would be good to catch whoever is responsible, as they are likely to do it again and again and...
