It's the weekend and its Lovely..

 ALL HAPPY HERE!!

What a wonderful day.. started off a bit dry but since then it's been gloriously wet and happily cold! Wet is the word though.. a company rep. just dropped by and he reckoned you could have towed a wake boarder along the A 27 this evening! Can't wait to drive home..  :)
Now for what's happening in our area this weekend..
Fireworks perhaps (errr no.. The Shoreham Beach Display is on for the 12th so make a note to drop by next Saturday evening!) and unless there is a little godly intervention not a lot in the way of wind for those wishing to play on wind toys (this is becoming a little tedious now) .
The winds are forecast to come in from the Nor'Nor West so if you do want to get out and play then the Witterings / Bracklesham are likely to be your best port of call as the direction will be side to cross off there. Saturday is a fairly light 12-18kts and then strengthens into a 26kts affair for Sunday. SUP wave sailing could be possible here at Shoreham but the swell is not expected to be that great (see below for a possible SUP opportunity..). As for the Tides, well they hit High at 13.53hrs on a 5.6m Saturday and then for Sunday it's 14.34hrs on a 5.3m. Not much rain unfortunately :( but the temps are showing as below 10 degrees.. whoopee! :)
So what else could you do..?
If you fancy trying out the latest in SUP inflatable Waveboards we have a demo 2017 Fanatic Stubby in the shop and if you would like to give it a go then please Call James on 01273465366 and he will book you in.. but don't forget that we are now closing at 1pm on Sundays so you would have to be out during the morning. It's our board so if you cannot make this weekend then by all means call and 'book a go' when you have the time. http://www.fanatic.com/product/stubby-air/

You could of course just drop by and get yourself kitted out with the necessary winter extras such as gloves, mitts, rigging jackets, vests, boots, beanies or even a new Winter wetsuit (previous years suits available as well as the 2017 models) for when the winds do eventually swing back to a more friendly Sou West direction... just a thought.

Don't forget that we still have a Hamboard Classic street SUP board that can be demoed (and purchased..) by anyone that may prefer to stay dry but still need a little winter FUN..
And that is it for now.. time to shut up shop and turn out the lights.
Have a great weekend whatever you get up to.
