The weekend and Kite Videos!

I'm back.. :( .. and the weekend is HERE! :)

And a windy one at that!
Things are definitely improving weather wise and if we could just get the temps to drag themselves up to 12 degrees it would be a welcome boost (you can only put up with so much of this cold and damp weather.. in my opinion). Obviously these winds are not great for 'all' but I guess a large number of SUP riders are still waiting for those rising temps to occur before they return to the water and those that Wave SUP will always be glad of a bit of wind blown surf! As for the wind and kitesurfers.. all looking good for a weekend of fun as the forecasts still show wind on both days (still waiting for todays wind..) with Sunday professing to be epic cross shore conditions with a favourable tide for Shoreham until around about 2pm.
I did want to try and put something right today.. as to date we have not posted many kitesurfing videos but when I came across these two it reminded me to do so and these two are perfect! For two nicely put together vid's ( both from Shoreham) they have not had that many views and really do deserve a few more (Marcus Stuart and Mark Emberson feature heavily in one :). so please pass them on and let's see how many hits they achieve. If you think there are others that need bringing to peops attention then please let me know (from whatever local beach). Links below.

So the weekend weather is.. Saturday is Sou-Sou West with wind ranging from 14kts - 20kts during the morning and increasing to 19kts - 25kts by mid afternoon (fingers crossed). Tide is high at 15.04hrs on a 5.9m.
Sunday ups the ante with a Sou-West (poss. Southerly for a period around mid -day) 20-25kts in the morning and then swinging Westerly 20kts- 42kts in the afternoon. Tide is High at 16.01hrs on a 5.5m (Shoreham will be good until approx 2.00pm and then poss a bit 'dumpy'). Temps are forecast to be around the 10°C mark.

I hope that this has been of some interest and that you all have a cracker of a weekend!
