2 x RRD SUP delights... Two Tails of MK is back and the weather.. is not delightful.

Friday Night... and only one more before Christmas!! Yep.. the year is almost over and it's finishing off a tad too chilly for my liking.. you can stand the cold but this dampness, well it just goes right through you. Fingers crossed that it is going to warm up over the next week as the forecasts currently say!

Anyhow it's late and I need to get home to write friggin cards so here's what's new..

We have two very nice OFFERS from RRD SUP Division.
The first is the 2015/16 Wassup Convert V3 EPX 10'5" x 31".
These boards are an all round SUP which is supplied with abolt in centre fin so that you can also learn to Wind-SUP with it. It adds nothing to the weight but does give it a second string for the Playability Factor (SUP or Sail makes sense around here as sea breezes often occur throughout the summer months.. horrible to SUP in but fun to sail in). The boards had an RRP of £875.00, which by today's pricing is cheap, but are now on offer at an amazing £699.00. We have two available..... Click Here

The second item is the RRD Dynamic 70 / 82 Adjustable paddle.
These paddles are 70% carbon, have a paddle blade size of 82sq", shaft dia. of 26mm and weigh 0.715kg. RRD describe it as " a narrower blade outline which results in less effort for more speed and paddles with a soft feel but high efficiency".
So at £265.00 the price is appealing but they are now £189.00.. worth a look if you are interested in a good mid range paddle. Click Here

Last up tonight... The MK Twin Rear End Boom is back! Local sailor Larry Chan is the new owner of MK Booms (which some of you will know) and it's good to see the boom that dominated our rack space for years and years (trying to think when we first stocked one..) available once again. The SOLUS boom is a New School shape, has an adjustment range of 150 - 250cm, a 29mm grip which is necessary for a boom extending to 250cm, a loop and go tail end, a SDM front end (you will need to use a shim for an RDM mast) and lovely blue and white graphics (including harness line markers) to finish it off. The weight is pretty good too.. we weighed it at 2.65kg for the 150-200cm and the with the long 200-250cm tail it was 2.97kg.
As for the price, well Larry has managed to get a very good deal from the factory which means this One does All boom sells for £165.00! We have a couple of them in the shop if you want to take a looksee... Click Here

And now for the weather. Saturday looks to be a bit of a re-run of today and the only useable wind for our beach seems to be arriving late Sunday afternoon.. but at least it is dry (hopefully..) and there has been a bit of swell around for those with surf or SUP boards.. keep your eyes on the forecast as at this time of year it's always 'odd weather' and could change.
The Tides however won't and the high on Saturday is 10.01hrs on a 5.9m and Sunday it's 10.39hrs on a 6.0m.
Lots of water in the estuary if you fancy a paddle around the houseboats.

Have a good one whatever you get up to and if you have to go Christmas Shopping... GOOD LUCK! :)
