Yes, after just 5 months of being kept in the dark LIFE will once again return to the UK! 

Amazing change in our weather as well.. a whole week without any serious rain (although quite a few were caught out last Saturday when 'showers' did appear in certain areas of West Sussex when nothing was forecast) and temperatures that actually feel almost warm.. YES.. it's all getting better from here on.. well.. as long as you don't look at next week's forecast.. NO DON'T LOOK!! 

 

This weekend is one of contrasts.. we have a day of peace and tranquillity (perfect for a first SUP of the year but please beware of the COLD WATER) as High pressure dominates Saturday.. you can almost 'feel' that relaxed Zen state...hmmmmmm... and then a friggin useless Low pressure turns up on Sunday to bring chilly winds from the Nor-East which for us,  are as about as much use as a chocolate teapot! North Kent Coast, Pevensey Bay or Pagham will be the venues for wind and kite fun, if you must, but I guess foiling maybe possible off of Shoreham as the tides are only a tiny 4.6m,  so not much in the way of movement. 

I would make sure that your Saturday is spent outside and anything that needs doing on the inside is a Sunday job. 

 

As always we have plenty of kit in this little shop of ours and as the summer has now almost arrived we are applying 'a very good discount' to our stock Winter Wetsuits should you be needing one.. or two even (one drying etc. etc.).  We will Price Match if we can.

 

Now, before I forget.. if anyone would like a lovely but no longer usable North Sails Flag (or Banner) for their flag pole or even the back window of their van (they are perforated so you can just see through) and are happy to put a £1 or more in the RNLI lifeboat,  please come in and grab one (maybe call and reserve before you come). 

 

Almost there..  The Tide times.. High on Saturday is 19.15hrs on a 4.6m (low is therefore at  just after1.00pm) and Sunday it's 21.43hrs on a 4.9m (jump die to clocks change).

 

So don't forget to nudge your Clocks Forward just one UK hour on Saturday eve (or at 1am Sunday morning if you like to be exact) and Sunday will be a little longer!

And as an added bonus we then change to our SUMMER SUNDAY HOURS and will be here until 4pm.. you lucky people! 😃
