Part One of Tis the Season to say HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

Friday Night has finally arrived and we are at the last Weekend before those two great December events occur..  Christmas Day on the 25th  but more importantly THE SHORTEST DAY which is on the 21st ,   finally we hit rock bottom! Things will be looking up on the 22nd as the days get longer and we head on back towards SUMMER. There was a 3rd to mention but I’m afraid dear old Covid has put a stop to that, which was our Mulled Wine and Mince Pie Sunday. Really sorry as I know it’s an event everyone wants to come along too but Social Distancing and a likely hood of playing ‘Pass the Covid’ means we cannot risk it… hopefully next year! So you will just have to enjoy the mild temperatures and the winds we have arranged instead. J

Talking of Christmas these are our opening hours over the festive period (normal up to Thursday).

Thursday 24th Christmas Eve 9.30am – 1.00pm
Friday 25th Christmas Day Closed
Saturday 26th Boxing Day Closed
Sunday 27th Get over it Day Closed
Monday 28th 10.00am  - 1.00pm
Tuesday 29th Day off Day Closed
Wednesday 30th 10.00am – 1.00pm
Thursday 31st New Years Eve Closed
Friday 1st January Fare Thee Well EU Day

Our ongoing Facebook page saga is no nearer being rectified, hence I have to write this on the laptop,  email it to myself and then publish it onto our page via my phone, as it’s the only way I have found of logging in! All rather frustrating and there appears to be no light at the end of that tunnel at the moment. Sadly It now seems that we have an issue with Google (not connected are they??) as I went to update the shop opening times for Christmas but refused me entry saying ‘Surfladle is owned by someone else’. I’m really starting to get an I.T. complex over all of this! Anyway, I do hope we can sort it out before Christmas arrives but if not, please ignore it should it say we are open on Christmas Day!  Brexit is something else that needs sorting out but let’s not go there this evening.. it will be something to look forward to in 2021!

Part Two.. please re-open the next News Item as even our website is now failing me!!
