Here's the Weekend Whizz for this week!

More of a Weekend Whoosh than Whizz!
Yes, here we are again with another week behind us and yet another weekend of wind and weather ahead of us.. 2021 seems to be flying past, just like the rubbish bins this morning!

Not sure how many of you headed out today but just had JB in the shop (not sure if he should have been working so cannot mention his full name!) who completed a down winder from Lancing to Shoreham on his Wing Foiler using a 2.5m Ensis Wing. I asked if the wing was folding in the gusts and he said that amazingly it was not.. a very stable canopy indeed! He did however come in to enquire about a 1.8m that has been viewed being used by Balz Muller (it is a pre-production model so not available until the Autumn) as this 'light wind' sport seems to be moving into places we did not expect it to go (on a lake maybe yes.. on open water NO!).
The new Ensis Score Wing info is now on their website  (has four clear 'view 'panels made out of a foldable material that do not affect the canopies performance) should you be interested! The first drop of the Score will arrive UK next Monday and we will have them at the shop by Wednesday. More info here.. https://ensis.surf/product/score/

Feeling a bit short on cash but yearn for a new Quint fin boxed Wave board? Currently there is an opportunity to buy RRD's Hardcore Wave Y23 V6 Carbon Kevlar Limited boards at a rather nice of £1159.00 (their New Wave Cult is £2499.00!). 78-88-98lt boards available to order and weight wise, these earlier boards are light! Test? Click here so you can see if it is one for You.

Keeping it very quick tonight so here is the weekend weather and tides.
Saturday Winds are suspected to be 14kts West with sun and showers. Tide hits High at 08.20hrs on a 5.1m so Low at 14.34pm which is perfect for Shoreham (do be careful when launching and landing as Neaps are notorious for catching people out).
Sunday's Winds come back round to the Sou'Sou West and pick back up to 18-26kts. Showers likely.
Tide is High at 09.18hrs on a 5.5m so low at 15.31hrs. A bigger tidal movement, so not so dodgy.

And that is that for this week. Hope everyone is well and avoiding any nasty variants (if you do have variants do not bring 'it' to the shop!).

Keep up the Good work NHS.. we do appreciate you!
