Oh yes.. Friday evening once again and what a change the last two days have brought to our Summer.. we were all having such a lovely time! I say all but I know that some were finding the pollen levels pretty intolerable (plant growth is epic this summer.. the sea weed will also be growing at an alarming rate so get your Weed Fins now :) and for others the temps at night were 'difficult'.. but it had to be better than this! At least we have a break for tomorrow and possibly Sunday, but for the start of next week (currently Mon -Wed) the weather looks to be 'wet' once again.
Quick update on what has come through the MegaStore doors this week..
We have two Fanatic 10'4" Pure Air boards, one Red, one Blue. Price is only £479.00 with the Pure 3 Part paddle but be quick!
We also received two rare Starboard Dual Chamber boards.. They are 2020 model 11'6" x 29" x 6" Touring boards. Dual Chamber is seen as far safer and a much stiffer product to produce better glide across the water. They are £1169.00 (each :) but you do need to buy a paddle if you are not already in possession of one!
Red Paddle has now released their QR Safety Belt to transform a Knee or Ankle cuff leash into a Waist style and we have 10 in stock! The buckle has been fitted with a Pull Toggle so that it can be released very easily in times of PANIC! Price is £18.95 and can be used on Wing boards as well!
We have a Used Neil Pryde Glide Small Windsurf foil, which is in its original box having been used just a couple of times. It is fitted with the Tuttle head and could be a perfect starter foil for those up to 80kg in weight. Price is likely to be less than £500 but just awaiting confirmation.
Right.. time to get off home so here's the weekends weather and tides
Saturday the winds are light and cyclonic with temps hitting 17°.. not a lot to get excited about but the Tide is High at 18.04hrs on a 5.4m so shallow water for most of the day if you don't like paddling out of your depth on the sea.
Sunday the winds are from the Sou'West peeking at 14kts mid afternoon (unless the Sea B kicks in..).
Tide is High at 19.13hrs on a 5.6m
