The Dakine Chameleon kite / windsurfing harness can be tranformed with the help of a Velcro from a waist harness to a very lightweight seat harness. This is the Chameleon.. an ideal companion for both beginners and advanced users.
Kite beginners benefit from the stable comfort of a seat trapezoid (harness) that comes with leg loops and is a soft flexible structure.
The Chameleon is especially popular with newcomers as the combination helps with rider comfort when strong, jerky movements of the kite are inevitablel. Advanced windsurfers, however, often prefer a stable, protective and supportive waist harness. This hip and seat harness combination can be used by both newcomers to kite and windsurfing, even for kite skiers!
