Goya 104 Quad Wave 2014 £1549.00

Sherif is a very experienced sailor whose home sailing venue is Arabia Azur Hurghada, in Egypt (can't you tell from the pictures that it is NOT Shoreham!). Sherif weighs in at  80kg, so for this board he is not that heavy and you would have thought that chop and a reasonably small sail might have caused issues. Read on..

Hi Danny.

Managed to get out on the Goya 104 and 5.3m Eclipse 2 days ago. Slightly overpowered. The board is amazing. Of all the boards I have sailed it is one of the smoothest riding boards. Even overpowered and in substantial chop. Wouldn’t have ever thought that 104 litres could feel so direct, nimble and smooth. Very easy to plane and incredibly smooth through the chop. It does not fight you one bit. Even while being very well powered up on a 5.3 in a force 6bft.
It does all radiuses in turns as well (tight or drawn out).
You should really be recommending this board for people that are undecided on what they want!!

Thank you!
